Sly made a reference several months ago on FF about how almost every high school football field in Texas has a Jumbotron.

I had an office chair for a couple of years that was part of a midnight requisition.

It makes it a lot easier when you actually work at midnight! It's hard to wake up, do what you need to do then go back to bed! 8) :boring

And since there will be a TV truck at every home game, we know what might be in it.
I'm running camera for 3 of those, so I'll look for Medic now that he has a booster seat.

The jumbotrons that they used for graduation (and the funeral) out there were pretty sweet. Maybe we got one of them from the rental place at a used price. Man, replays would transform everything. After great plays I'm always looking up for the replay anyway. I'm disappointed everysingle time.

also, we KNOW more seats ARE coming.

that one we've beaten into the ground. Temp bleachers in the EZ while they draw up plans for the 2nd level deck on the Baptist side (which can eventually be duplicated on the students side.)

thats just a matter of time, we have the cash promised.

I'm going w/ the JT theory. It was mentioned by our friend in high places that it was high up on the "want to do ASAP" list

60% of the temp luxury boxes were sold the first DAY they went available

obviously the attempt to determine "need" was successful - they'll be there for next season.

that was pretty much a given- I don't think they can install permanent ones until the stadium expansion is complete, though.

I know they are going to be temporary suites, but they could have brought them in this week. That would be something that would make Williams not look like a high school stadium.

Watching the guesses is very entertaining. Some of you are closer than others in your speculation. Hopefully we will hear announcement in the not too distant future.

For the record, my Texas reference it was to the grand scale of Lone Star State high school facilities being different than the rest of the nation. Take a look at a basketball gym/stadium near my house:

Calling a stadium a high school field is not an insult down here.

Is it the FBS-sized man beasts we put on the field? That's not very highschoolish.

I wonder where we would position the presumed Jumbotron--maybe on top of the old fieldhouse or beside the scoreboard? Or would we put it on top or on the side of the new FOC?

Sly, I guess the old saying is true: "everything IS bigger in Texas."

CJ - When it comes to high school football in Texas, there is little argument.

Or a big Eagle statue out front.
Or better concession stands to feed Storm and his family. :tailgate
Or circular holes in the glass so you can actually talk to the person selling you a ticket at the FOC. :welcome
Or additional bathrooms. :urinal
But it's probably more seats for the old hags. :oldhag
