Got a text yesterday saying that there is a charter flight leaving Dec 18 for around $900 with a choice of two hotels. Transportation to fan fests and tailgate (which I'm sure is at the stadium) is also included. We went last year and enjoyed all that went with this group.

Flight: We will be solidifying a charter flight leaving from Freedom Aviation (private side of Lynchburg Airport) on Sunday, Dec. 18, around midday. The flight will return immediately after the game.

The flight is around $900 per person. This will cover a round trip flight to Boca Raton, FL from Lynchburg and Ground Transportation to and from team events in Boca. We only have a limited number of spots on the plane. Tickets are on sale now to Director's Level members and above. They will go on sale to the rest of Flames Club Members tomorrow morning and the general public tomorrow afternoon.

Hotel: We currently have two hotel blocks offering discounted rates for Liberty fans. These are not included with the flight and must be purchased separately through the hotel. Click below for that information!

Jetblue round trip from RDU to Fort Lauderdale is $263. Add about $40 for parking at RDU. Flights from the burg are more than double that. You would need to figure in car rental or Uber costs as well as hotel, but if you have a small group, those could be shared.

Candle's staff recruits Florida HARD. And they have found some gems. I am a bit surprised some of these guys aren't hitting the portal yet.

We got what looks like a nice room at the Hyatt for $207. It's right by Mizner Park and close to restaurants, etc. Fairly close to FAU as well. Looks like easy travel to and from stadium.

So, based on your $325 claim, you can drive 1800 miles for $150 and have $$ left over for meals.



I see that you changed it from $325 to $375. Still

You would have to get outstanding fuel mileage for that to even cover your gas, and even you know that driving a car costs way more than just what you pay for gas.

Why not go just to support our kids, program and university? I know nothing about Toledo, the town or the school, but my family and I are going to show our love and support for our team.....and it's about thirty degrees warmer in Boca Raton in December.

That is in no way a criticism. It’s a fairly reasonable price if comparing to commercial airfares. I hope they sell it out and have to charter a second. But for me, it’s out of my price point comfort zone
