So Freeze is going to coach in a hospital bed in the coaches booth. I love Freeze but I think he should focus on his health and let Harris/Austin call the game today.

On the range of selfless to selfish, I’m honestly not sure where this falls.

On one hand he’s determined and wants to help in any way he can. It’s his team and he wants to lead it even through the pain and discomfort he’s currently experiencing.

On the other hang he hasn’t been at practice and they’re having to literally make facility modifications so he can coach while watching the game on a screen.

I miss being a student but man I do not miss getting into games 90 minutes early. Major props to them.

I initially felt somewhat the same way about Freeze deciding to be up there in the bed; however, his whole thing has been tougher together and being there no matter what sets a solid example for the team to stand tall if at all possible. We don’t know his motives, but I’m choosing to believe it’s not a pride thing and it’s a wanting to give it his all and set an example thing.
