He's speaking at a Mens Conference at a church near Shreveport on Friday evening. It is part of this recruiting trip through the South he has been undertaking this week.

I kind of like the Shotgun approach. It hits more people than just visiting a single kid. I would not be surprised if his radio and conference presence generate a few leads for us.

He is speaking at a football coaches clinic in Atlanta I am attending. He is the only G5 coach to speak with all other speakers being high profile p5 guys. This is big for Liberty. The exposure he gets with Georgia high school coaches will pay huge dividends for us. Georgia is one of the absolute most important states for high school football now.

One year I had that too. He said his father was a General. I never could get a satisfactory answer as to why he chose to come to Liberty... I had doubts that he chose to do so!

My dorm was a melting pot of those that didn't adhere to the evangelical system. An open Muslim, an open Rastafarian, an open Roman Catholic, an open Chinese Communistic Atheist. The Muslim wound up getting saved, the Rastafarian was arrested and kicked out for drug use, not sure whatever happened to the Roman Catholic, the Chinese atheist went on to grad school at Harvard and I'm not sure what happened to him either.

Hopefully the kids Freeze brings in will be smart, adjust to the system, play great football, and most importantly come to know Christ if they don't already.

The Roman Catholic probably led some of the heathens to the Lord. Many of the Catholic people I deal with have more moral scruples and are more invested in their faith than the standard "Christian;" they are, after all, a Christian faith contrary to fundamentalist propaganda.

He will talk about each recruit, and show some video on each. Flames Club members get in at 5:00, non flame club members can go in at 6:00. Event starts about 6:30. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.

I’m hoping that the football and basketball programs continue to grow and improve so more people would consider moving in or near Lynchburg. It’ll be nice to have more family around!
