Maybe my memory is faulty, but I seem to recall that in explaining his reasons for taking the job at UR, while he didn't come straight out and say it, Rocco insinuated that the effect the unique nature of LU had on who he could (and could not) recruit may have been a constraint he was happy to no longer be under

And it looks like we have a Rocco apologist with the username #10 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We don't announce firings as firings at Liberty. A coach usually "resigns" or a contract isn't renewed. In Rocco's unique case, he was having on field success so he was able to find a new job to cover up the change and look good publicly. It also saved Jeff from having to explain why he got rid of the most successful coach we've ever had.

I'm more jealous of Richmond because I wanted us to succeed before him. Haha

It is nothing personal against him. More of a pride thing.

And yes Beej. I know. That is a "me" thing.
