It's nearly impossible to run 80+ offensive plays and score 17 points. Woodrum has not improved over the last year or so and it's now time to find out what we have in Masha so we don't go into the offseason completely uninformed about the QB position next year.

Coaches recruited the players that quit. They wont go away from lunsford. Maybe echols is worse but id take my chances at this point on inside 40. Coaches wont bench parker lunsford or even work masha in with woodrum playing so poorly. You flat out have to try the field goal there. Thats the same play rice blew at wvu on 4th down and they knew it was coming. Im not saying fire gill yet but hes undone any goodwill that was created last year. To say hes the most accomplished coach in program history isnt saying much. Season is over play the young guys.

M soccer loses to coastal. W soccer loses to gardner webb. Volleyball loses to coastal. Football loses to gardner webb who loses to startup ksu then loses to monmouth who lost 37 to 7 at home last week against csu. Solid fall athletic season for the university. Atleast theres golf and field hockey. Thats all we have.

I can't believe the season is done. I knew we were going to have a tougher schedule this year, but I thought we were golden after Georgia State. I don't know what to say. The way Presbyterian took both Coastal and Charleston Southern to the wire, and with Kennesaw State winning like it has, there's no game remaining on our schedule that we couldn't lose.

We can't even win the usual Big South co-championship now. As Coach Gill just said, "hopefully, we can have a winning record". Such high hopes...I'm always a fan, and I'll be at the games, but I'm very disappointed.

I believe I would start Masha next week. We have nothing more to lose and we should give him some time to show what he can do before next year.
In addition, it would take some pressure off of our poor performing OL, coupled with the fact that we have lost our best running back.
We knew going into this year that our OL and defensive secondary were very suspect and they have lived up to that billing. If the GaState QB was playing for them today, they would have had at least 2 more TD's. Like Woodrum, the Monmouth QB is not accurate with the long pass, which is the easiest to throw. I will never understand Woodrum's inability to throw that pass.

Ok correction, I will make one general comment and then I have to clock in for work:

I believe Gill is the man for the job. He was in his last year with a mix of his recruits and the previous coach, and I am not in favor of causing any instability at this juncture with the recruits we have committed already.

I also believe that its a shame to take the time to point out things like whether or not the AD posts a "win or lose" picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Whether he does or not isn't important. What is important is that we carry ourselves in a way that glorifies God, regardless of whether we win or lose, and regardless of whether or not some picture is made public about it.
