I know it is early in the season and polls don't mean a whole lot, but I just don't understand the love affair that Coastal Cupcake U has with the pollsters. Oh well.

I love that we drop in the polls after a loss to an FBS team! I am surprised we didn't fall out of the polls or fall to the bottom like we have in the past.

We aren't being punished for losing to WVU. Other teams were rewarded for performing well and passed us.

Seems fair to me. We are exactly where we should be. I agree that coastal is over rated but they are still a top 5-10 FCS football team. People get too wrapped up on these rankings.

I think the teams ranking is where it should be. I was upset because we dropped in the polls when we played an FBS team that will end up in the top 20. Other in the FCS ranks have played FBS teams and been blown out and have moved up or have not lost their ranking. I know that we have dropped further in the polls for the same type of loss in the past. I hope the team proves themselves this weekend and we end up in the top ten next Monday. I have been working hard to convert some young kids to LU and a strong showing this weekend wouldn't hurt!
