I'm not sure why this thread would be considered dumb. Liberty owns its own property and the financial opportunity is there, particularly for the G5 conferences. Why not?

1. Any thread suggesting the creation of a new bowl = dumb.
2. Any thread suggesting Liberty be the sponsor of a bowl game = dumb.
3. Any thread suggesting Lynchburg as a destination of a bowl game = REALLY dumb.

I have never figured out why some people get bent out of shape because they do not agree with a message board post. Msg Boards are for posting of opinions. If someone posts something one does not agree with, just issue a counter-point to show why post may be incorrect. No need to get mad over a post. and don't verbally attack another poster.

Lynchburg is not Miami, but there are other bowls played in the Mid-Atlantic during this time of year. This is why if I asked if the city would be up to the task. Liberty has the money to make something happen if they choose to.

There is no market for these dumb bowl games. MOST EVERY team that goes to a bowl game LOSES money on the bowl game. Many of these dumb stupid bowls LOSE money themselves.
