We have never signed anyone with more than 3 stars out of HS. Most recently, DJ, Petey and I believe Grant Jones were 3 star, and going back farther I really don't think we signed anyone more highly sought ........................... til now. He may have "only" 3 stars, but the list of offers from P5 schools Damian King has puts him on another level IMHO.

I would hope that wouldn't be the deciding factor, but hey if LU says he could play then, by all means I hope HCTG would/could sign off on that in order to seal the deal. Amazing what kids are these days, and the things that help them make up their minds on certain things.

Since I enjoy causing ridiculous speculation, what if these guys know something that we don't?
Like C-USA has already extended an invitation under the condition that that information not be made public until after the basketball tournament or spring meetings. This was a totally random thought that came to me that could just be a result of readjusting to sleeping on campus and getting back to waking up before noon.

Being allowed to play a second sport for a top 25 d1 team with a top 10 facility in the nation is a big deal. I 100 percent get why that would be a big deal to a kid that plays both.

So if he were to come and play baseball as well. What if baseball gave him half his scholarship and football gave half? Is it possible to then free up half of another scholarship to give out elsewhere for football ??


If yes why don't we do that with all of our basketball scholarships (haha joking... Sorta).

BYD is right. for what its worth, he would get a full scholarship for football (one of the few sports where you can get only a full if I remember correctly)

You can split up scholarships at the FCS level.

It's nothing new for him. While he was at Kansas I'm sure he went up against the likes of Michigan, Arkansas, etc. on a regular basis. Same thing when he was an assistant at Nebraska.

Is this same night or from different nights. I see Harbaugh def didnt waste no time getting out to the kids. HCTG is def trying to close this deal and if baseball gets him then lets do it. Problem is, what if baseball here doesn't want him, and he's on full for football only, then HCTG really doesn't have to let him play. They would have to get baseball on board and on board quick to try and do like a half half if its even allowed.

PS: someone tell HCTG to get up in that picture, you have the Wolverines with waste hugs and the Flames with only a handshake, lol, show that boy some love. Looks like each coach waranted a different outfit also.
