Getting conflicting info on Josh's availability. Probably best to wait until around 1:30 to find out for sure. He got hurt on Wednesday at the end of practice and did not participate Thursday. TG was fairly adamant that Josh would play, but that was Thursday. Something may have changed since then.

If it's Masha at QB, I would line up on our first play like we are going to run an option, fake it, and go deep to Petey. Then run our regular offense, giving them a huge dose of Abner and Macon, with Masha running the ball on some of the same plays Josh would. Simplify things a bit, continue to take shots downfield (the longball is Masha's strength as a passer) and tell Stephen repeatedly not to force any throws. When in doubt, USE YOUR LEGS!.

Gill takes a page from the belichick playbook I would reckon as far as injuries go, so even if you were being serious PH, I don't think youll see much of anything on the record about what the injury is and the extent of it.

Thanks scribe...hopefully this (whatever it is) won't keep him out of the game next week and Masha can tote the mail for us this week should he not play

Anybody else wishing we would have used Stephon more in mop-up roles earlier in the season? Hopefully he steps in and is amazing. But there is no question that this situation is creating some anxiety.

Been saying that all year.

This is exactly why when you have the chance to play your backup qb you do it. You never know what could happen.

I have no idea what to expect from him.

I often wondered that myself. Now I know in games where the result is in doubt then of course I can understand not going that route, but he really should have gotten more touches. I think Dr Cohu mentioned something about that in coaching class as well.

Doesn't make since. The back up doesn't get any practice and more of a risk of starter getting hurt.

Doesn't make sense as to why you would run Abnar last week w/ 30 seconds to go and not knee the ball. You have 1 RB and he had almost 40 carries last week. Luckily he didn't get hurt but you lost your center on that play!!

New center and QB today. This should be fun.

The cold kept them away, even I left early for the sake of protecting my own health.
I knew our students were soft. I didn't realize they were that soft.

To add: In 2008, on the weekend of Thanksgiving break, we had 3000 students at the Elon game when the temperature was 39 degrees at kick-off and dropping. Today was 41 and kids didn't even show up.
