I know this is like our "thing" that we do in every sport when it counts, but some of you guys need to put the pitch forks and torches away. This is just stuff that has to be worked out over the course of time. There's no magic button that nobody's pushing or some sort of clutch win potion the AD is opting not to buy. It just happens with consistently being good and getting rid of the "here we go again" culture with a few actual breakthroughs. We might have had one in bball last year. Just waiting for it in football I guess.

what is the point? I have said the same thing over and over again for years now and nothing ever changes. I am sure the athletic dept will be itching and moaning about how terrible the posters are on this board instead of focusing why the department is a but of a sham.

I will keep my comments brief because we are at dinner with friends but I wondered why we didn't take and deep shots after DP won that jump ball in the 3rd I believe, we did not take any deep shots with him. in fact I wonder why we didn't take a crack at the end zone in the second overtime

Once Coastal scored on the 2-point conversion, I almost ran out of the stadium: I couldn't stand to watch us lose again. Sadly, we lost the game before I ever got off campus.

Seems like we are terrified of throwing a pick at the end of close games, even if just a few yards puts the game away..

Don't know how many times I said a TD here, or stop on this play and its over..

We played really well, looked much better than them at some points, just couldn't ever put it away. Hate it for this team. Got a good group and a good group of seniors, hate they lost their chance..

Coastal is a good team and we shouldn't take anything away from that fact but the way we have lost every game this year has been incredibly painful. This one hurt the most for sure.

Agreed..woodrum and rice both had career games tonight, Petey continually won 50-50 balls and we ddidn't take advantage of any of that in the fourth quarter or overtime except for the wildcat run with Des in OT #1

our coaching staff gets too conservative in the 4th when we have the lead. That is clearly the problem with these close loses, especially this one. We are not good enough to do that.
