I will see what I can do on the banner... I need to talk to my guy who owns a sign shop in town... Some of the creative minds on here can come up with a design and I will see how much it is going to cost...

I have a grill designed for travelling. It is very small, maybe can hold 3-5 hamburgers at once. I will be more than happy to bring that, but we will probably need something bigger.

We just need something so we all know where to congregate. Doesn't have to be professional unless we want it to be.

Jim here...I'm bringing people from my church in Halifax. I have requested a tailgaiting spot as well over a month ago(I'm at the FLAME level as well)...they said they'd send my pass, but I haven't got it yet!!

But I'll be there.

Jim,

Will be good to meet you. You have to stay after the people in the ticket office. They said they sent mine too, but I never got it. I had to do a follow up email and a phone call to ensure I received it. I have had LOTS of problems over the years with that area. My impression is that if you live out of town, you become 2nd or 3rd priority. Hopefully they can get this fixed soon.

I'm staying at extended stay home suites or whatever it's called right across from the lahaye center.

PLEASE NOTE: MY GRILL IS EXTREMELY SMALL

That's just FYI, in case someone else has something, I will still plan to bring mine though.

you may be it :D

my grill is a mess- full of grease and rust right now- that and I can't bring a propane cylinder thru the harbor tunnel. Something about explosions in confined spaces, a billion ton of water overhead, etc.

tell GMTM to go raid his parents house, I'm betting they have one. Either that or our long lost buddy HMO probably has one in his garage somewhere. Miss that dude.

I am also staying at extended stay motel across the street from the ice rink. Look for someone wearing a FSU cowboy hat and a Tampa Bay Bandit USFL jersey , red and black #10 at the game, say Hello

Alright, I'll have to put that into my memory bank. When are you coming down, and how long are you staying?

I'll be wearing my navy blue band shirt and navy blue pants with a red stripe down the side (Dr Kerr doesn't want us eating while wearing the full band uniform)

If I am not mistaken Steve Young was with the LA Express before he joined the Tampa Bay Bucaneer. USFL Tampa Bay #10 was worn by Wayne Peace from UF. Coach of the Tampa Bay Bandits, none other the Steve Spurrier. Burt Reynold was part owner of the team, he was dating Loni Anderson at the time. Everytime the Bandits would score, they would play the song
Smoke and the Bandit and of course Smokey the horse would come riding out on to the field.
The Tampa Bay Bandit had larger home crowds then the Buccanners.

Bigsmooth...I've been looking for you for years now...thought you had dropped off the face of the earth!

Contact me - I know this isn't the place to post this, but it was the easiest way I could figure out!

You are correct about Peace.

But for the record, Peace was a backup one year for the Bandits and barely saw any action behind fellow Gator (and Ken Anderson's longtime backup at Cincinnati) John Reaves.

TB Gary Andserson was the team's stud running back and a young Nate Newton started out on the Bandits O-line and Cris Collinsworth spent a season before becoming a Bengals receiver turned network analyst.

And what famous wrestler tried out for the Tampa Bay Bandits?

Guessing based on age, I'd go with Stephen F. Austin alum Steve Austin? Although on second thought he probably would've been trying out for the Houston Gamblers.

The Rock would've been too young so I give up.
