Having all white uniforms will look sweet, I'm sure everyone will hv there own personal opinion, but having as many combinations as I hv heard they will hv will definitely look good.

My guess is that since the eagle was not as recognizable from a distance on the helmet that they didnt want to have that same issue with the new logo on the helmet so they went with just the monogram since that is recognizable at just about any scale. I wouldnt be surprised if they used the eagle head with the graphics on the TV broadcasts. Maybe you can tweet your displeasure to AD Barber BYD and he can give a better explanation though.

If you're talking about the solo eagle with no letters I'm glad they never use it. The baseball team has been using something similar on their hat for a few years and I hate it. I don't know what it is about it that irks me about it. Maybe just the overall shape.

I am so disappointed they have basically decided to not use the eagle logo for anything. What was the point of having it?

They had a lot of stickers left over from the early 2000's they needed to use!

Granted, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. But wouldn't there be a problem using the new flaming eagle along with the new LU logo on the helmet? Maybe I'm just not seeing things right, but don't you want the head facing forward and the flames trailing back. If you did that, the decal would only work on one side, the face would run into the "L" on the reverse. Or am I just unable to visualize correctly?

Regardless, it's an improvement on the other helmets simply because they were hard to distinguish on TV. These decals are very visual friendly. I will miss some sort of flame though.

You should stick with what you've been smoking! Those things looked 2nd rate. Was the LU made by a dot matrix printer from a Commodore 64 If our uniforms looked better we would have won! I just know it!

You had the commodore 128 with a detachable keyboard. I just had the regular Commodore 128c. Most of the time I booted into C64 mode to play hardball, Contra, and 4th and inches. I badly wanted to get an Amiga or Atari ST. I think they had a custom teams disk for 4th and inches that let you pick the teams colors...no helmet logos, though.

So you agree that they need something. The LU just didn't show up on TV at all. On a side note I'm not sure the announcers did weather and they just pulled in 2 guys off the street

I think overall it's a big upgrade, just needs some more color for it to pop. The announcers were bad, I think any combo of all of us on the board could do better

That's my issue with same color uniforms and helmets.

The uni's looked horrible, hate all white. My wife, who doesn't know a football from a baseball saw the game on the tv when she came upstairs for a second and said, "man those uniforms, are ugly" That said it all to me. UGLY. Guys played a great game though. We probably would have won if we had better looking uniforms.
