Thank you! I will be there to meet you all. I will have to get tickets when I get there. I shouldn't have a problem judging on Towsons attendence figures.

You might want to check with the LU ticket office. I understand they got some more tickets yesterday and are selling them for $10.00.

Thank you for the tip. I just called down there but no one was home so I left a detailed message. Hope to hear from them today and maybe arrange for me to pick them up before the game somehow.

OK guys here is how it works. The Flames Football Tent is $30 and that includes game ticket and unlimited food and drinks. These tickets had to be purchased in advance of this week I think. The $10 tickets are for the game only. That said the tent is set up in Lot 21 and that is where those with "tent tickets" will be parked - also those with non-tent tickets should park there with the rest of the Liberty supporters. You can pick up game day tickets (purchased yesterday ot today) at the tent in Lot 21. If I had known I was going to be able to attend I would have bought the tent tickets for the meal, etc. I think having a tent on the road for people to gather is a great idea and I hope it catches on. I know they are doing one for the Wake game.

I will be a the tent but I just hope that the tickets don't run out. I just spoke to a TSU alumnus and he said a sellout is not going to happen so I definately will be going to the game. I just want to be assurred of sitting with the LU faithful.

All I'm saying is the food better be amazing if you're paying $18-$20 for it.

I was going to say the same thing. The price tag seems a little steep. The food better go beyond just burgers and tube steaks.

$30 at Wake is a good price because of the cost of tickets, but this one seems a little steep.

As far as the tent is concerned - I think the program is looking for anyway it can to raise $$$. Many bigger schools have been doing this type of thing for years and they charge $50 a plate for these types of get togethers and that does not include the ticket. I can see for the students how $30 is pricey - but for those working full time - it's a nice way to give money to the program. My sense is the fans tent is for older fans like me :>) - but I'm sure all will be welcome to visit. I like the idea of a central location for the fans whether they decide to pony up the bucks for the tent or not.

Look forward to meeting you guys tomorrow night. I hope the road warriors walk out of Towson with a huge win.

I guess you figure that most colleges charge for parking and other things that the $30 doesn't seem too out of wack with what things cost now a days. And if the money is going to a legitimate cause then I am ready to make that financial committment. I just hope that the tickets don't run out and that the grub is at least descent.

Steve:

Did you try the Flames ticket office? They had tickets in the Flames section as late as 3 PM yesterday afternoon? I bought 4 and they will have them at the tent for me. I bet you could still get one and just pick it up at the tent. Call (434) 582-SEAT (7328) and give it a shot.

BTW, parking is $5 bucks in all of the lots, but don't know if that applies to the Flames Tent of not.. We should be there around 3:30-4:00ish

GMTM:

You are correct. Parking is $5 for all lots. You can download maps of the campus at towsontigers.com. Lot 21 is very close to the stadium.

Thanks! I called but no one was home. I left a message at the number that you had posted so I will just wait and see what comes of it.

If you called during this time, the campus virtually shuts down for Chapel. I would try again around 11:30, 11:45 ish.

Worse case scenario Steve - you can buy a ticket at the Towson ticket office. I'm sure once you're in you can sit with the Flames fans. I can't see Towson selling out or being extremely forceful with assigned seats.

Sorry HBF, I won't be in attendance. I will be listening to Dr. Jerry Edwards and my man Paul Rutigliano via the internet. If you meet GMTM make sure you smack him for me. SJ too. You have to keep these kids in line  Look for Absturgill too. He is a super fan. I went to Katie Feenstra's game with him last year and we had a blast. I hope you guys get to witness a great performance by the Flames!

I just got through to the ticket office and got my ticket but was told to go to parking lot #13, not 21. Just thought that I should let everyone know of the change.

Thanks SCAR, yeah I called the Flames Ticket Office and they said Lot 13.

Also, those who are planning on going to the Inner Harbor after the game, there is a Sold Out Alan Jackson concert at the Baltimore Arena of around 20,000 people. The Arena is somewhat close to the Inner Harbor.

Nice catch guys on the parking lot. I swear they told me yesterday when I got my tickets Lot21. I even wrote it down! Must have been a last minute change or something....

I just got a call from the Flames ticket office about tomorrow and it is offically Lot 13. It does cost $5 to park, as mentioned in earlier posts.

If anyone has any travel questions or questions about Baltimore and such, drop me a line or PM and I will answer as best I can.

See y'all tomorrow. Oh weather should be in the High 70's and in the 60's around nightfall.

Hope to see you guys at the tent. I should be there around 4 pm. Looks like I should have planned ahead as I'll need tickets as well.
