nice job by the coaching staff to constantly change up the schemes and stay ahead of PC.

loved the moving from rushing to passing and back.

also Mark Edwards on the sidelines was good. Very professional.

A breather next week then back at it. FOCUS

That was a great win for the guys. I wanted to see 4 quarters of consistent football on both sides, and that was gift wrapped and delivered to my TV on Saturday afternoon. This one should have been a blowout, and it was. The only :dontgetit moment was the Hudson run in the second that ended in the fumble. The play worked well, but everything else was working so well at that point, too. If it ain't broke...

Anyway, of that was my only complaint, then I am all :D

Fantastic game yesterday. Last week, for three quarters, we watched an extremely un-motivated group of football players. The last quarter of that game and the entire 4 quarters yesterday, we saw a 180 imo. We played with a very motivated, stop at nothing type of attitude. Quite frankly, considering all of the injuries we have, we'll have to play like that all season. I loved it and Woodrum is definitely the right QB for the job. He's going to be really exciting over the next four years.

We all know I am not a ToC's guy but come on, its one game. I am happy with how we played but lets not act like this season is something to be proud about. It may turn into a good season, but we are not yet in a place where we can feel TOO good about ourselves.

Just my 2 cents

We're one half from feeling pretty good about this season so far. One half and about 2-3 plays from being 5-1 and ranked in the top 15. So, we're not far away. Then again that NSU game looks worse every week.

We beat a team on Sat we should have beaten. we crushed a team on Sat we should have crushed. How is this a bad thing? To paraphrase the words of the great Nuke LeLouche 'Were winning. You know it's better than losing". I mean if the Troll of Cowardice had any creativity he could at least thrown out a back handed compliment

I am not saying we shouldn't feel happy, but lets not get carried away. That is what always happens in this place. Everybody gets carried away one way or another.

Plus the longer we are without ToC making his presence be known around here the better...

Yeah. That's me Mr Over Reaction. :)
I agree about ToC's absence. Although it certainly WON'T make the heart grow fonder!

I just finished watching the game again and this was pretty impressive. Yes, Presby is bad, but the offense seems to be clicking better. Woodrum looks really comfortable and the O-line really opened some nice holes. We started fast and the play calling was really good. I really liked what I saw out of Abnar as well. This team is improving and another performance like this one against Concord will go a long way in building confidence going down the homestretch.

Here is the deal: Our desire is for this team to beat a struggling team like Presby like a drum, which is precisely what they did. They hammered a weak team on Saturday just like any decent FBS school or a good FCS school would have. I am not saying that we are either of these (yet :D ), but this reassured me that we have the potential to put all the pieces together and make a run at the conference title.

What happened on Saturday was an abject disaster. Congrats on the win. We'd better show improvement this week becasue I don't know if I'll be able to stomach a loss to Charleston Southern.
