Can we get some love for Sam Gado...and Dre Barnes for that matter. Sam was royally screwed by Karcher and if we didn't run a screen or draw play every other play, both would have been a lot better.

A Chiles probably did have the best arm but for my money Biff was the best overall QB. After he left we went YEARS before we had anyone that could make even a sideways pass. Biff took an absolute beating game after game. His heart and soul was LU red. He was beter than average and I wish we had him during the Rocco years where he would have been great. Not a knock against Mike who was more a multi-gifted athlete than QB.

Don't know if he would be the best, but he was very very good. He did take an absolute beating. Also, if it had not been for Karcher, we had about 4-5 other QBs that would have been really really good, including Gus Condon, JR Barley, Travis Johnson and Kyle Painter
