As for Bowden, I'm worried about his credit rating. He had some sketchy charges at some cat emporium
Plus, he is a handsome dude!

For the record, if it cant be you then I want it to be TG
Beej, I'm torn with this one...I feel like I have a slight conflict of interest with getting your resume together for this one. On one hand I'd feel like a coach who hired his son as an assistant...on the other I know what you bring to the table. I'm going to need a few more days to come to a final decision.
BJWilliams wrote:Not interested...I am not gonna go from never having coached a second of football in my life to being head coach putting in 80 hour weeks. I'll stick to being a fan at this point

jbock13 wrote:This is just straight up wrong. It doesn't matter what conference Buffalo is in, to take a consistent loser like Buffalo and have a 8 win season is impressive. Anyone in the college football business would tell you the same. TG's time at KU is very confusing, but I still think he could be a great pick up for us. Especially if we are seriously considering moving up to I-A.From the class of 09 wrote:I have always liked Kansas basketball. Not love, but I've always followed them, but I do remember the year Kansas had a one year wonder. Turner Gill won the MAC division. Even with crappy players that's not hard to do. A 8 win season in the MAC? Wow what an accomplishment. Especially when you are playing the brutal likes of Eastern Michigan ever Saturday. Or even worse... Kent State.jbock13 wrote:You guys are wrong about gill. That's all I'm saying.who you got?

LUconn wrote:An 8 win season in the MAC could be EXACTLY what we're trying to achieve depending on how things shake out.I didn't even think of it that way, but well said.

BuryYourDuke wrote:I guess we would have to right? It doesn't excite me one bit. I'm not going to lie. Doesn't have a winning track record, doesn't have recruiting experience in our region. He's got the name. He's been in the Big 12 and MAC. Both places we'd like to be. He has LU contacts (Robert Wimberly). He's been in the Northeast (Buffalo). It's hard to ignore his success at Buffalo. He's an outspoken Christian. He would bring a lot of excitement to the program.
But if he's our coach, he's our coach.
