Looking at video, I am impressed with his decision making ability. He makes decisions where he wants to go with the ball, then executes without hesitation. At least in the video, it is usually the right decision.

Also impressed with his accuracy and touch. He throws a very catchable ball, and the receivers are the ones best in position to make the catch.

Looks like a great get... I like having a dozen verbals already. Puts LU in a good postition for the next level...

He's getting married this May and really sounds like he is committed to the ministry so I say good luck to him. at least he went out with one of the plays of the year on the fake field goal

This to me is the worst part of football, when you know your days are done, and will not be able to strap up for that ride with your compadres. Alot of kids go to HS and are that guy then never really get the opportunity to shine once they reach college or the next level, and its hard to deal with for some. I think he holds the ALLTIME FL TD passing record or something and came here and has barely thrown 20 passes. I wish him well.

Indeed flamehunter. Not everybody that plays college football aspires to the NFL, and some people cant accept that. some guys go into business, some into coaching, some into education. Some (like Sam Gado) go into the medical field and some, like this guy, go into the ministry. Football is a means to that end since they can get their school completely paid for.

This goes beyond football though. I follow him on twitter and he describes himself as an aspiring pastor (or something along those lines). My guess is he wants to finish the spring semester, get married, then get himself involved at a church and get on that path he aspires to.

Javon Won't be missed at quarterback he wasn't going to see much action there anyway. It does have me a little bit worried that our stud placekicker, who has shown in the past that mental focus is not his strong suit, will be entering his senior year with a new holder.
