Like. Or maybe "thanks for paying us to win." Like ball state. Okay yeah, my idea, not so great.

Russell hasn't decided on what he is going to do just yet... Remember he wants to play in the NFL and in the MLB. I'm looking forward to this game because I live 5 mins from Carter-Finley :D

I already have my guest list building. I live 15 minutes away and all my friends want to see my son play so i will need lots of tickets. luckly i have some connections at NCSU.
It will be a big homecoming game with 4 or 5 guys on the team coming from this area (Hendersons, Fogg, and Martin)

I just checked NC State's website last night and tickets for the Western Carolina game were $38! That is a freaking expensive ticket.

BCS prices. My Michigan tickets are $55 to $69 per seat depending on who they are playing. Hopefully my connection will get me some comps. i only get 3 from my son for an away game

The game in Morgantown two years ago was $40 I believe. I went... I'm just not sure how accurate my memory is...

I believe it was $38. At least it was this past season, my parents have season tickets and we don't sit very far from where the visitors section is. I was there... in my Liberty Red :D

I been to several Maryland and Tennessee games versus more prestigious opponents for the same or cheaper. Not complaining, just surprised they are charging that much for an FCS school.

I'm not, I think $38 is quite cheap for FBS schools.

Unless you work in a church in Knoxville and one of your elders has seasons tickets in the club level. In that case, you go for free, park for free, and barely have any of a walk to the stadium.

hmmm.. been to games at bama, ole miss, south carolina, georgia and the tickets are in the $40-60 range. maybe if you scalp you pay over $100 for a big game...in any regard, $38 is a good price for an ACC game.

The only place I actually buy tickets is for Texas. And low level non-conference games you can snatch tickets in the $60 range for top of the upper deck in the endzone. Those same seats for a conference games typically triple when you can get them. It is tough to get tickets directly at face value at UT. I was glad UT came to Houston this year where tickets at Reliant Stadium were much more reasonable.

Of course, tickets may be more available this season than they have been in the past.

Vuvuzelas are not a soccer thing, they are a South African thing. Real soccer fans sing/chant. I've been to South Africa, and they are actually really good at singing and chanting, but for some reason they choose to blow those infernal horns instead at soccer matches.

It is both scary and sad how believable your scenario is BYD, but I'm pretty sure South African soccer fans have actually been using them for quite a while.

I'd be willing to be a lot of money that the vuvuzela at the world cup was the idea of some white non-South African guy in a suit. I can hear the conversation at the FIFA office now..."This world cup should have a native sort of feel, something to make it stand out, and we can gush about the diversity of the sport"..."How about these crazy horns I found when I was there on holiday last winter between child prostitutes?"..."Splendid idea Nigel!"
haha I like that theory. Probably right, as you mention the sheer corruption that exists in FIFA...
