I don't know, but I'll tell you what is:

BJ getting rid of LUconn's sloganizer. Does LUconn try to make a comeback with it or has it lost all hope?

uhm...yah..he would be a HEAVY hitter in the secondary for us. Guaranteed that he would be one of the top 4 most talented guys in our secondary. Not only that but he's a really good return man too. We would do well to pick him up. He was very highly rated in the state last year. I believe in the 14 to 18 range.

Does Liberty even use a fullback in it's offense other than for blocking? I've watched the offense for years now and it's almost like the fullback is used for blocking only which is unappealing to fullbacks with a RB skill set.

Poindexter use to be good in HS and saw him in some camps years ago so hopefully he can get on the field if time allows him too.

the FB is sometimes called upon in short yardage plays (I think I recall a FB getting a short TD on a few occasions)

I would like to see the fullback utilized much more than in the past. Virginia Tech just moved Josh Ogelsby to fullback from RB and this will cause the opposing teams problem because he can run and catch out of the backfield. Hopefully, Liberty uses the fullback more this year since some fullbacks can run also run the ball and catch.

I would concur...I went through the stats and Bishop was used more in the passing game in 09 (4 catches for 22 yards but no rushes)

Stevev wrote:It had to be our new stadium addition that convinced him to come to LU. Our stadium would make Delaware's look like a dump.
Or that it was closer to home.

Or that he connected to the coaches better.

Or he liked our scheme.

I know you're in love with Delaware and the CAA but we have a lot more to offer a kid other than just our new stadium. This kid chose us over Marshall as well.

I do like the CAA but do not like Delaware, even though I live here. The stadium thing kind of stood out to me the most but I can relate to your other points as well as reasons for him coming here. If he went to Marshall he would have to sit out this year.

Great news. This makes Brent Vinson moving to LB that much better because Lillard can take Vinson's place at Safety along side Robinson and Claiborne.

This gives us a 3 headed monster at Safety.

Man, we could be really good on D.

Also some info on V.T. OL transfer A.B. Latif
Offensive lineman A.B. Latif, a former Virginia Tech player, has transferred to Liberty and is waiting to see if he becomes eligible this season. “He’s in school,“ Rocco said. Latif played at Manchester High School in the Richmond area. Out of high school, the 6-3, 280-pound Latif was listed as a three-star recruit. I’ll know more about his status Thursday when the team meets for the first day of practice.

They just announced a new transfer for the OL, but he's not eligible this year.

Mark Tomlin was a starter and one of the better players for VMI and he's enrolled and will be practicing this fall.

He would probably help out a lot or maybe start next season since we have 4 seniors on the OL line this year. Size might be an issue since the Military academies don't put out very many big O-Linemen.
