Uh, BJ, you do know they're not going strictly triple option don't you? Their offense is going to be a lot like ours.

I didnt know that but I still think they can pick up some wins this year. Hopefully this summer I can do something similar to what WEF does with basketball over at the WU board and go into more detail

1. LU
2. SBU
3.GWU
3.VMI
5.CCU -Have the potential to be in the top 3, but their defense has got to do better
6.PC
7.CSU

-The key for PC is how well our QB/QB's (not sure if we'll start miley or webb, maybe both split time playing QB), but how well they can run the offense, and if our new defense will be able to stop the run. Our run defense last year probably gave up about 300yrds a game. If we do both of those things i can see us finishing 5th but not higher. GO Bluehose.
And i agree with a poster above who said, to be the champ you have to beat the champ no one has done that since last october (but of course ours didn't count haha)!

1. LU
2. Stony Brook
3. GW
4. CCU
5. VMI
6. PC
7. CSU

Whenever it seems that Coastal isn't going to be very good, they surprise. This may be the worst division/conference in all of football this year. I think the only competitive games will be between LU, SB and GW.

Coastal vs Liberty will be competitive. The average margin of victory between the two schools is 8 points. Is six meetings, each team has won three and each team has score the exact same amount of points.

The previous post was made by a 14-year-old girl. I'm serious. I am not joking. Take it for what it's worth.
Thanks so much.

1. Liberty - Until given a reason to believe otherwise. But this fall may be tougher than expected.
2. Stony Brook - To be honest, the only team in the league that really concerns me. Glad they came in the fold.
3. VMI - Before this thread I honestly thought I'd be the only one seeing them this high. Now I look like a copycat.
4. CCU - They will have the offensive weapons to beat anybody.
5. G-W - OK, after picking them high every year I've learned my lessons.
6. CSU - Needs no explanation.
7. PC - Bobby left a mess.

1. Liberty - loaded for a playoff push

2. Gardner-Webb - we'll be unbeaten in conference play heading into the LU game in November, then crap out like usual and lose to LU and PC to end the year 6-5. Typical Patton football.

3. Stony Brook - the newbies look stout on the defensive side, getting both LU and Coastal at home doesn't hurt.

4. Coastal Carolina - Bennett feeling a bit of heat, I look for them to be 4-2 in conference at best.

5. VMI - Sparky has them pointed in the right direction, but road-heavy schedule will wear them down.

6. PC - they are Calvinists, so they are predestined to lose, but the new coach has to be in rebuild mode for now, but nobody had better overlook them.

7. Charleston Southern - the first three games on their schedule get them physically beat up so bad that they don't recover and struggle all year.

This is similar to what I posted on AGS. I feel with G-W, that Doolittle is not the answer for us at QB, and that the second game at WCU is key for momentum for the entire season. If we head into the bye week before VMI at 1-2, it could be a long, long season. Go in at 2-1, we could fare better, although 6-5 overall and 4-2 in conference is my pick.

I see LU losing respectably in Morgantown to WVU, then running the table to a 10-1 record and playoff berth.

It's a little early to be throwing that around.
we can start saying dynasty when we are as good as UCLA was in Basketball under John Wooden.

If we win 10 Championships in 12 years then we can say dynasty not until then though
Yes, but it's the Big South, NOT the PAC-10, so it would have to be 10 for 10.

oh and as far as my picks this year go...

1. Liberty
2. Who cares
3. Who cares
4. Who cares
5. Who cares
6. Who cares
7. PC - destined for greatness... eventually... maybe... but won't they be glad they got their predestined beatings out of the way.

If I had to pick a sleeper besides Liberty to win, I would pick VMI. They could have a very nice season this year.

Yes we are liberty fans but do you all think we are going to win with ease? It's going to be harder with alot of people leaving after last year.
new QB new RB new WR new LB's new safety. The big south is also getting tougher.

Nothing ever comes easy...it may look easy but it never is. I do think LU can roll to another BSC title if the guys come together as a group. We are very very talented and I think more so that we have ever been. We shall see and I can not wait until the fall!!!! GGGGGOOOO FFFFLLLLLLAAAMMMEEEESSSS!!!!!

We've got more talent than we've ever had. The concern comes with experience and focus.
