Its easy to see.
Mike brown will be put at wr/rb when tommy beecher comes in and takes over.
we will also get freddie brown.
kyle dearmon and zack duke had good catches but it was the spring game. kyle will be lucky if he plays and duke if hes on the team.
Bevins already is the kicker for the fall. Young sucks. he is inconsistent.

The Truth, I think that you are going a tad bit overboard with the Beecher talk.
I think no one has won a job and the only shoe-ins I see is Chris Rocco, Larry Claiborne, and probably Vargas.
So just hope that Tommy comes with his A-game when Fall Camp comes around!

Yeah, I am not sipping the Mike Brown at QB Kool-Aid just yet... but I hardly think of it as a done deal.

The Landis-hate goes a little too far tho. Maybe he shouldn't have started over Brock, but he is more than capable of competing with Mike.

Tyler looked pretty good, too. At the Spring Game at least.

Okay, let's summarize this little exchange:

I went to the spring game and here are my thoughts:

1. Mike Brown has the potential to really be a dangerous player next year. Needs to work on the passing accuracy (especially on the swing passes) but I think he can eat up a lot of yards with his feet.

2. Spencer Landis has a pretty good set of wheels himself. I saw a couple plays where he got 10-15 yards using just his legs. He really is the better passer of the two right now (course he has had a couple years playing behind Brock Smith as well)

3. I agree with FC about the running game. Really nobody showed themselves to be a game changer yesterday. Broggin has a chance to be one. Courtney Anderson had some flashes when he was in as well.

4. Kyle DeArmon could make his way into the WR rotation as he definitely had some very good plays as well.

5. Its already been said...Jamal Giddens is gonna be scary...I think he might break somebody in half next year.

6. Paul Young doinked an extra point off the same upright twice (and you could hear the PA announcer chuckle after the second one). I think Bevins could be our FG guy next year.

7. I think our defense could really turn some heads next year.

I hope you don't mean literally

I mean that Mike is the kid of guy who could definitely be a major player in teh ground game. It will be interesting to see what Holloway does when he gets in and practices this summer but if we can gain a lot of ground with the QBs and RBs that could really add a new level or formidableness to the offense
