Unless it's significantly changed since last year, their student presence isn't "significant" at home. They're working on building a better atmosphere, but they've still got the frat/sorority mentality of the football game is a party and that's what we came for. A lot of the students show up late and leave early. Granted, things can change completely with the stakes that may be on that game.

One time when I was a freshman the cafeteria had bowls of milkshakes during lunch. You'd just go up and scoop out the milkshake into a cup. I think it was the best day of my 4 years of college. I drank so many milkshakes.

Best ideas in my opinion would be to play up the importance of the game. Start Now announcing that if we win out we go to the playoffs. So if we win the ones that we should, it will put all the importance on the last game.

So we should promote the playoffs, and how we get into them. I feel that students care more that what people on here think. Their fanship is definately not up to snuff but i feel that their support for this team ( especially if we keep winning) far out ways their past preformances.

If you call yourself a big fan of Liberty living in the Lynchburg area, and you don't make the trip to VMI for any reason other than a select few, I'd somewhat question things. It's an hour and tickets are something like ten bucks.
