Surprised by how well we hung in there with a solid ACC squad. Hudson won't face a defense of that quality again this year and he'll start carving people up once we get to conference play.

I hate to say this because this is way more than i expected out of this game. but we should have won this game. we didn't execute towards the end in a pressure situation. I will take solace in the fact that this is a young team and I am thrilled we know who our QB is. It just hurts knowing we were so close to winning this game and came up short.

A great start to the Gill era. I didn't expect this. Knew D would be stout, but the offense was outstanding against an FBS team.

That QB was infinitely more accurate, in his first start, than the QB last year who gave away any chance we had of winning at NC State with 5 turnovers.
