Nick his mother and i were on his official visit this weekend, And i asked coach during our 1 on 1 with him sunday about all the rumors and the ECU job.I told him i loved the winning but that it always put his name out there for coaching jobs. Then he told us that he was signing an extention on monday. Didn't want to say anything till it broke. Although it doesn't mean anything now a days. He spoke of the future plans { not that he would tell a recruit i'm leaving } they have for the program. Sounded long term to me, but what do i know,

Good blog post Lang. That's a lot of info to chew on, and not a lot of vagaries. It's nice that Rocco didn't "use" ECU to negotiate his contract, but why didn't he get a pay raise? He certainly deserves it.

And why would it take so long to work out an extension if there's no raise in the end? Bigger buyout? Smaller buyout? Different stipulations? More bonuses? A 6th and 7th year of eligibility for Mike Brown?
