After watching this link somebody needs to talk to the QB and tell him what a team Capt should say after a L with the cameras on. Wow if I was on that team and saw that I would bust him in the head. He just threw the whole team under the bus. Dude and the poor FG kicker. The way he talked about him LU should have left him in Boiling Springs. Whatever happened to," where much is given much is required". Why not just say, " we did not play well enough to win tonight and GWU did a great job. We still have work to do etc..... Watch some Tebow stuff for God's sake. Sad to see that and I feel bad for him cause he has to live with those guys he throw under the bus. They need to get this guy out of the lime light for a while.

And its not the first time that he has done it either, did it vs WVU as well, places blame a lot of other places before himself, when if your a leader as he claims it STARTS with himself. But JW can apparently do no wrong.

It's the reason some in the locker room weren't sad to see him out at Coastal last year.

I don't know if this means anything or not, but it’s currently Tuesday at noon and Jeff Barber hasn’t tweeted about football since before the Gardner Webb game started. For a dude who is a serial tweeter, that's a little telling that he's not very happy.

He has every reason to be unhappy with the results. This team has no accountability. I think most of flames nation is disappointed.

As far as JW goes, someone needs to make sure he doesn't speak to the media after games. The rest of the team will get tired of him putting the blame on everyone but himself.

That was Weyler's. It's give. Kool Aid a bad name for years. But no one remembers Wylers but everyone knows Kool Aid. Too bad because I actually liked Wylers better
It was actually Flavor Aid, not Wyler's (or Kool Aid).

That's what he does. Gifted athletically but a bad teammate.

If he keeps throwing the young guys under the bus, someone is gonna pull an Enemkpali.

Josh is perfect. Do not be critical of that man. Thanks.

Letting a team score 28 points before making adjustments is the coaches’ fault. That was my positive point, the negative is: it appears that the offence did not make any adjustments.
Also I am not sure if you could see this on TV but when Abner got injured almost all of the GW players were on one knee but I did not see a single Liberty person or coach go to their knee. If I was a coach, it would have embarrassed me at our display and I would have taken a knee to show a leadership example. Of course if I was the coach, Sunday they would run laps around the football field while I read the book of Genesis over the speakers and on the next loss they would run laps while I read Genesis and Exodus. Now that I think of it, that may be why I am not the coach but that is what I would do. :D
The players being on a knee is not going to help the hurt players situation.
I disagree. The point of taking a knee is to pray for the well being of the player. The world is watching. If we, as an evangical school, do not believe in the power of prayer, how can we expect to fulfill the school's mission?

is it possible for a coach to pray for a player without taking a knee?
How much time must elapse with a player on the ground before a coach should take a knee?
What if the player is just hurt but not injured?

Hate to be a jerk about it but in actuality doesn't LU have someone pray for the safety of all players before the game. Oh, I guess your saying "HE" didn't hear that prayer so everyone must kneel and pray again.

Amazing all the "stuff" that gets dredged up here after a bad loss. I understand frustration, no one gets more frustrated than I do, but the rest of this black helicopter crap. Hard to make this stuff up. sheeeesh.

I thought we would too. The fact that we didn't says a lot about this year's team.

For those who have played sports at a pretty high level, once things go downhill against a team you should beat pretty easily, you always think you can hit the on button and recover very quickly. However, once you realize you are in trouble, it is often too late. It is like being sucked down in quicksand................ not fun.
Yes, it still stings, hope we can win out and still make the playoffs. However with our O line not being very good to begin with and with the additional injuries, not sure we can beat CCU. Teams have pretty much stopped our running game this year and forced us to be one dimensional. When you are forced to pass, only 3 things can happen and 2 of them are bad. Sometimes you can overcome it (GaSt), but most of the time you can't.
(That ended up being much longer than I planned).
