I can see your point on the Navy LU unless they made the outline thicker. I think a white LU would give a nice pop with a navy outline on a red field

again with 18- so I don't think we'll see blue lids. prove me wrong @LibertyEquip
I'm hoping we do. I might be colorblind but it looks like the folks at LFSN might have gotten ahold of one or it may just be a mockup.

Is that blue or black? I can't tell.

Yes, it's the same helmet, and it's blue. It does look dark, but it's blue. Captains were pretty excited about having red, white and blue helmets for this season. Idk when they will sport them if at all.

I know all of the white helmets are Riddell and I'm pretty sure all of the red ones were as well.

Kansas City wore all red this past Sunday and I actually liked it. The difference was that the numbers were white which brightened the look. The navy numbers make ours too dark.

you are both right. They use both. When we got the white lids it was a deal with Ridell for the new Speed 360. Since then equipment managers have changed and Chris has brought in some schutt XP's and I think i've seen the new vengeance as well. especially in the Red. Honestly that's how a lot of programs do it. several different helmets from different makers. because not every helmet will correctly fit every kid. Thats why Equipment managers have our own governing association(AEMA) and need to be certified to fit and maintain all the equipment now. They cert test is done by the same people who give the athletic trainers certification. With the concussion thing being a hot button issue right now its pushing development in the field to be better equipped to keep these kids safe on the field.

I knew there were some XP's and DNA's in the blue. I knew the white were all speeds. I haven't seen any of the reds. I am all too familiar with the equipment room. Spent 3 fun years in there.
