I think the heat is getting to everybody this summer. Nobody is "bragging" on here and everybody seems to need to lighten up a bit. I've explained why we can't discuss details quite yet. If you guys want t continue with wild speculation, I'm cool with it since its rather fun. But let's lay off of taking shots at one another.

We know about expansion? I thought we knew that the money was promised for it. That's so vague it could be like 15 years away.

Let's look at the things we want to do and then where we are currently in the summer in terms of would it be possible before the season, along with need:

1) Second deck - we don't need it right now, at all. Plus, we're less than two months before the first game so it'd be almost impossible to get it up before Tusculum.

2) Bricking the stadium - Barber said he wanted this and it'd happen before this fall. This isn't "big" news though. It's possible by this season.

3) Scoreboard - we need a new scoreboard, bad. We know that administration wants a new scoreboard. It'd be possible by the season, just need the funding.

4) Press Box - if you've ever been in our press box, you know we need a new one. With that being said, it'd be pointless to put a new press box up and try to build a second deck around it. It'd also be insanely hard to get it up before the season starts.


That's all. Those are the four things we need to make our stadium a very good stadium. Only two of them are possible by September 1.

2. New pressbox over on the student side...built for future expansion and deck addition on that side.
