Even though it is AGS, did we just move from 22 to 16 in one week?

Well, we are undefeated and won 3 straight on the road... it's a pretty solid resume.

Wow, we're right behind Toledo in the Sagarin ratings. Man, has that program taken a dive. They're 1-4 right now, and just got blown out by Ball State. They couldn't muster one point against Ball State.

If I were the AD at Toledo, I'd send a message... it's probably too early in the season to get rid of the head coach, but you can probably fire some loser assistant like the QB coach to get your point across...

(schadenfreude, I know).

Can't we let Ken fade into the sunset?

I have trouble even remembering LU football before Rocco. Or perhaps I have created a mental block.

So as of right now, are we meeting the playoff criteria?

yes. if we win out the conference we should be in b/c even if we lose to elon, which i hope doesn't happen, we'll remain top 16 by winning every other game

I thought we established last week that those criteria don't apply to us because we don't have 6 solid members for 2 years! I think we have to get an at large. The extra Auto bid can't apply to us!

i'm sorry i have to spell it out. we already beat 2 schools in autobid conferences. we have to win the conference, which we are on track to do, and we have to be top 16, which we will be if we win the conference like i just said in the above post. comprende?

We're completely in the hands of the committee. There's no way we can guarantee a playoff bid.

We don't get an auto-bid because the Big South is not a conference this rule applies to.

Only the NEC qualifies for this rule at this point.

JDUB ... the Big South does not have access to the "bridge" auto-bid. Nor does the Great West.
