With this surge in the second quarter, I finally felt okay to look around at the other games. I was beginning to wonder about the preseason optimism.

I updated the Opponents scoreboard.
A couple of our non-conference foes in Toledo & South Florida are hanging with BCS schools around the half.

Scar with a smooooooooooooov delivery in his halftime interview with Rocco. Nice pressed blue button down and a fresh shine on the dome.

Now you are making me regret not buying the game from the Big South Edge.
Did he have the makeup working on his dome as well as his face?

Opponents Scoreboard is updated.
Let's drive it down and take all the wind out of the Pioneers right away.

Kent Hicks makes the interception to make up for that earlier miscue.
Now its the offense's turn again at their own 44.

Brock with the nice 3rd down pass to Dom Bolden to keep the chains moving to the TC 37.

I was at the game...TREMENDOUS crowd and student support. Both sides full. Yeah...I left at halftime. Got some good pix of FF regulars and will send them along to Supe to post.

Noah is wide left on a 47-yard attempt. Hey, we haven't been able to kick it that far in the past. Baby steps, I guess.

Did anybody catch the halftime report on the wrvl stream? Great story from a Flames Club luncheon with Rocco talking about the first time he ever talked to Dr. Falwell.

It looks like CCU may lose tonight at a MEAC school that has talked about joining the Big South.
Other than our apparent victory over a DII school along with VMi, its not been a banner Saturday for the league.
