I'd like to see them throw even more options in by adding the choice of face mask color in. You could have white helmets with red, blue, or white masks. Of course you could do the same with the red or blue helmets as well.

I hope ODU wears their new matted finish Helmets when we play them. They just showed them on espn's SVP& Russillo, those things are sick. I like how they have the entire shape of the state of VA on the side with the Monarch in the middle.

3. LU has a lot of combinations of uniforms that is for sure. I hope they stick with only a few of them on a regular basis... one for home, one for the road, and one for special rivalry games, one for homecoming, one for special road games. I guess that equals a lot doesn't it?
4. We can still do better on our helmets, though they are an improvement from the last ones... you know something like holographic flames with LU in block or collegiate font!

I had the same thought about sock combos but was not feeling masochistic enough

* I asked Gill about uniform choices today, and he said he lets his captains choose the jersey/pants/helmet combo before each game, as long as they stay within the parameters of choosing a light jersey for road games and a dark one for home games. He said he absolutely uses the Flames’ number of Nike uni combos -- 18 at last check -- as a recruiting tool, because, hey, young football players enjoy a lot of choices. He’s not the only coach who mentions such things in recruiting.

I think you have a good point!! but instead of the holgraphic symbol, use the same metalic tape that ODU helmets have for their #'s but make them a Red'ish Metalic color as the "LU". That would be Inexpensive yet SHARP looking..... (PS: I still think we need to use that fire stuff that Lenny Kravitz gives the guy and girl on "Hunger Games" ... JK)
