Good stuff, didn't remember that.

Hope he turns out to be a good player for y'all. Worked out well for both of us because we then landed Kevin Sousa (Michigan de-commit), and Tyler Cameron (LSU lean who chose Wake over the Tigers). Both of us should be set for the future at that position.

This is terrible. Are we treating this game like a warm-up scrimmage or are we going there to win? I thought we had moved beyond treating these FBS games like a paycheck.

I believe that y'all were our Homecoming game in 2006. That would explain the full stands.

You shouldn't be surprised. You could see this coming a mile away.

Not picking a QB or not treating the game like it's ours to win? Either way, seeing it coming doesn't make it any less disappointing.

I think its less that LUconn and more that Coach Gill sees two QBs who have battled all spring and all through training camp and its been a neck and neck competition the whole way. Im sure that COach Gill wants to win as much as anybody but with as close as Hudson and Woodrum have been, he is gonna want to see how they both do in-game when the guys coming at them arent wearing the same colors they are.

Not picking a QB. If this is what he thinks we have to do to be better prepared to win our conference championship, then it's fine with me. I'd rather win the conference championship and be in the playoffs than beat Wake Forest.

Ok then let me edit my thought: It's disappointing that we don't have a QB who has stepped up enough for Gill to think we can do both.

Unless we are to assume that they're both just too good to decide between. But that seems unlikely.

I completely agree with that.

This is addressed in my notes for tomorrow's paper ... but Gill seems to have reversed course a bit from being frustrated that neither has separated himself to pleased that both have performed well enough to garner starting consideration.

For those of you who are impatient and can't wait for the morning paper, here's a link to Lang's article: http://www2.newsadvance.com/sports/2012 ... r-2154282/

i talked with the flames club last week and tickets will be at the flames tent. You will be able to pick them up there. Players tickets will be at one of the gates as normal. I talked to the ticket office about the parking passes and they said an email should go out yesterday or today with details. I hope you don't have to pick them up at LU because i have no way of getting them down to me before the game
