White Lid - Script Liberty or the LU logo(the flames logo is too busy for the helmets)NO RED FACEMASK.
Red/navy/white Tops with red accent (home/away/special)
White Bottoms. No need for any other color. Dome should match the pants at all times.
White or navy socks.
Black or Navy Shoes.
Done.

When I was in school the red jersey was brought out for coastal and coastal only. and it was awesome.

The uniform I wore was ugly, but at least it was original. (And the red ones were not all that bad)

I have the red one that belonged to Dom Bolden. It does look sweet ... but is not very flattering for my gut.

Yeah, I have that white one and my red one along with Chris Lucks red one. I also have a white one from the Rutigliano years. The red ones were super tight.

Any ideas with a white helmet should be scrapped. To me, there are only three good white helmets around (Texas, Penn State, Nebraska). I do kinda like the idea of a script Liberty on the helmet. I also think that, since the endzones are red and the university is pushing the emphasis of red in the color scheme, our main home jersey should be red.

I think stripes is the key. Look at Duke, Miami, Louisville, NC State, Wisconsin, Baylor, UCF, Tulane, Marshall, SMU, Ohio, Arizona, Stanford, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, FAU, WKU, and BYU. They all look fine, the ones that suck in my opinion are the ones without stripes.

I think Washington's white helmets looked pretty good. I wouldn't want just the L, but I think the original plan of LU on the white helmets would make them look much better

Call me crazy but I like our uni's, and all of the color options.
I really really like the blue helmets.

If you want to change them use the logo that the Baseball team wears on their helmets and hats. That logo would look good on both the white and blue helmet options.

I would like to see a red "throw back" helmet. (not really throw back because no one likes a flaming football) and but a white or blue monogram on the side.

I personally hope that Gill keeps the unis. But I am open to change.

I am partial to the blue helmets with the red stripes as well. If we go with new helmets full time I'll have to change our swim caps!

...which is another example of why we need to pick something and keep it. It becomes our idenity. Of course this whole thread is a mute point because none of us have anything to do with that choice.

Sure your helmet should match your pants and your belt should match your shoes. But EVERYONE knows you dont wear white after Labor Day. Use your head people!

...and "THERE THEIR" as well. The one I see on here often is "THEN" instead of "THAN"

Or "should of" instead of "should have". You say "I have done this" or "I should have done this" not "I of done this" or I should of done this". I've seen this this morning already and it's one of the most common errors on here. It's one of my biggest pet peeves along with the incorrect use of apostrophes. It's used only in contractions or for possessives. Not on PLURALS.
And don't forget "they're" in the their and there case.
