From what we've been able to piece together:
Joe Daly - QBs/Tight Ends/ Offensive Coordinator?
Aaron Stamn - Special Teams Coordinator/Tight Ends?
Vantz Singletary - Linebackers or DLine
Robert Wimberly - Linebackers or Secondary

(not sure TG has definitely hired)
Charlie Skalaski - Wide Receivers
Pete Sundheim - Running Backs

So, that's 6 assistants (at the most). We had 10 on staff in 2011.

Does Marshall Roberts stay on?
Who are our OC and DC?

Please let me know if I've left any out.

And Beej you can save your time with the "wait until Lang verifies all this". This is what a message board is for.

Skalaski & Sundheim are definitely staying last I heard (right before Christmas) as are the strength & conditioning guys. It sounded like Coach Roberts was sticking as well and coaches Ake & Kinney were under consideration.

Frankly I haven't heard anything all week. So my information may be old. I get the strong impression that perhaps neither coordinator has been hired yet. Then again, I could be wrong. Coach Singletary has yet to be a coordinator but he certainly has the resume to be one.

thanks for the update. Sounds like he is a good man- that's the kind of "collateral damage" we tend to forget when arguing over coaching changes: the poor guys stuck in the middle (left behind by DR) that wouldve loved to stay but arent part of the new guys future plans.

prayers for Ake's family too... not just the coach that gets affected by this

Youre right Medic. Its not easy telling kids that Daddy lost his job (whether coaching or otherwise)

Interesting. I'm glad he's on board, not sure how he will do as DC though.

And it appears David Beatty didn't land the OC job at FAU. So perhaps he might be a possibility.

Yeah, Dailey might help a bit with recruiting in North Carolina.

I've now heard from several folks that Coach Sundheim may not be sticking after all. He has been a huge part of the growth of Flames Football for a long, long time.

If he goes I'm sure it is either his choice or he will be working in another capacity at the university.

I agree that he won't be leaving the school unless he chooses to explore possibilities elsewhere. He has been an incredible asset to the university.

I agree with Purple...he is one of those "lifers". If he isnt on the new staff its probably because he retires and moves to another department.

I think we should be getting an announcement soon. From everything I've been told, this will be the most experienced staff we've ever had and will have a lot of name recognition.

I have had several people tell me with 3rd hand info that Carl Torbush may be coming. Last I heard he was battling cancer right now so I am skeptical.
