Impressive showing in Murfreesboro tonight. CUSA on full display with 10’s of fans in attendance watching some Tuesday night football!

Sarcasm…if I was not obvious enough

Fortunately, the football masochists who first watched the MTSU-KSU ending on television were rewarded with an incredible ending in the NMSU-LaTech game. LaTech drove the field and set up a 27-yard field goal to win, but NMSU blocked the kick as time expired to force OT. NMSU went on to win in 2OT.

I'm really looking forward to tonight's SHSU-WKU game. I think it's going to be high-scoring, but Sammy forces a couple of turnovers and wins it.

I’m sure most if not everyone here has seen ESPN’s bottom 10 that they do every week and well, 5 of the 10 teams on it are on our schedule. And it’s not really the 10 worst teams in the country as one is a joke every week so it’s actually the 9 worst.

4th Quarter, WKU blocks a chip shot FG that would've tied the game. Then immediately throws a 74-yard TD pass. Moments later, Sam fumbes inside their own 25.

Wheels are coming off fast.

Shame Hunter Watson missed the 2nd half. The wheels fell off the bus for SHSU without him. The blocked FG and immediately ensuing bust sucked the air out of them.

WKU's defense looks much quicker and more physical than last year. November 23 should be a good game in Lynchburg.

With the week's CUSA action complete, here are the updated standings:

Image

WKU now appears to be in the driver's seat for one of the two slots in conference championship game. They have a head-to-head edge on Sam. Obviously the Flames & Jax State also control their destinies at this stage.
