Too bad we couldn’t just move the game to noon to enjoy the College GameDay lead-in.

I really enjoyed that last week. It felt pretty big-boyish.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was but I also wouldn't be surprised if they got on the horn with one of their auxiliary broadcast teams and told them they're heading to Lynchburg and get your travel arrangements lickety split

That doesn't surprise me given the timing of the announcement. ESPN has enough talent I'd think TO be able to send a broadcast team, but it would make better logistical sense to use the in house crew since that was the plan for the ESPN3 broadcast anyway

Does this mean those of us without a cable provider won’t be able to watch? I was looking forward to the games being on espn3/espn+

Yes.

LFSN talent on call.

Good ratings last week + high quality of in-house production likely led to quick change.

Question: has ESPN televised a home game from LU before? I know I’ve watched them at Baylor, at BYU, At UVA, etc. I just can’t recall a home game.

I don’t recall a home football game being on linear ESPN channel. I think we were once when we played @ Coastal but not home and the other times you mentioned.

I could just be forgetting. I'm getting closer to 40 everyday

The year before, we played Coastal on a Thursday night televised on ESPNEWS at home.
