When Dr. Falwell announced in January 1971, that he was starting a college, I wonder how many thought then, that someday, LU would be bowl eligible ?

I know a lot of football players who did. No one was better than Sr. for casting a vision.

From the outside looking in, I am sure not many. For those who knew Jerry Sr, I don't think many of those people doubted this would be a reality someday.
