It is hard for any big school prospect to fly under the radar in Greater Houston. This is the area of Galveston County where we have recruited very hard the past couple of years.

Update on 2016 prospect Ernest Thomas. He's only played 4 games this season due to a broken foot he got earlier last year but from what I've seen he has played pretty good and his highlight film looks pretty good, what do yall think?

Hey guys I've been checking up on Ernest and it seems to me he is pretty good nice size and good feet needs to work on his speed though. So far this season he has only played 4 games but he's put up some nice stats. Here is his senior season highlights if anyone is interested!

I would say this, if he has an offer from LU he better go ahead and jump on it, season getting shorter and kids who may not be having the years they envisioned are going to start gobbling up some security in the offers they have "laying" on the table, and it looks like this is his only offer

without having first hand knowledge of the situation, if this kid still has an offer on the table then im sure school still interested. It may be that the kid is trying to play himself into some other offers, it might work it might not. The question is if we are his only offer and nothing else closes watch how that window closes real quick when others who may not go as deep in the playoffs trying to do the same thing start accepting, you know its only a limited number of spots at each position anyways

It appears we remain his only offer. My guess is he is waiting until his season is over to make an official visit. That may be awhile the way they have been playing. They embarassed the Falcons last week. My family lives the next exit down the Gulf Freeway in Dickinson.

That's disappointing. That could indicate that we are full at the DB position. It has to be tough for kids to make the decision to accept an offer when it is on the table or hold out for something better. Sadly the latter often leaves kids without any offers when the shuffling is done. Hopefully he finds an offer by Christmas under his tree.
