Don't know exactly where this goes, but I wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a Merry Christmans and a prosperous New Year, (especially for LU sports). I believe we have turned a big corner with the football program and hope the other programs benefit as well.

Enjoyed our tailgates, and meeting you guys as much as anything I have participated in at LU. Look forward to doing that again next year. Everyone be safe over the holidays and stay away from that egg nog. :D

Go LU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks flameshaw. It was good meeting you, and all the other guys I met. I had a blast. Merry Christmas to you, and all Flames supporters out there! I think that this year we took a small step forward in our entire athletic department to get to where we want to be.

Feliz Navidad

I was just about to move this thread to the Courtyard or Lynchburg Life but based on the football aspect of this thread I'll leave it here. It almost feels like a belated Thanksgiving thread based on looking at where our football program is today as opposed to last Christmas. We are back on solid footing for the first time since the Sam era.

Medic, if you got cleared to come to every game I would give you season tickets for Christmas! I was thinking of getting the reserved tickets for next season myself. I kind of got spoiled using Jimflamefans and my boy Timmy Houghton's seats the last couple of games. A-Train got to reap the benefits of that connection and so did Smoothie. Good times! Merry Christmas to all. I had a little blow up in the Women's basketball Thread with my boy Sportscritic but in spite of that, this has been a fun year on Flamefans and I hope 2007 is even better for us on the board and our teams and coaches in competition.

Merry Christmas from Ohio, where the Flames will travel on Oct. 6, 2007!

Top of my Christmas List, a kicker, a Big South Football Championship, and a trip to the playoffs.

I'm with you on all three MadMat. Although the idea of another Christmas in frigid Ohio doesn't sound particularly enticing to this Ohio expatriate.

Merry Christmas, but for the sake of all of us, make sure to visit your FlameFans.com family over the next few days. We can't spend it all with blood relatives.

Ok, so maybe that's just for my sake, but you get what I'm saying.

Sly, here on what should be the frozen tundra of north central ohio, up to 50 degrees on Christmas Eve, cloudy. Only have seen three snowflakes thus far.

You lost with those four words. They should never exist in anyone vocabularies ... it should be DOWN to 50 degrees. :D

Sunny & 78 at Christmas is my idea of Holiday Cheer.

Merry Christmas to all from sunny and warm Elkin, NC. It was 66 degrees here earlier, and I don't like that at all.
