He sucked last week. May as well have been an intern for all of the mistakes he made. It was like he showed up on Saturday morning, perused the game notes once and tried to BS his way through a broadcast. I don't tend to pick on media folk, but it was embarrassing.

I can think of a few plays where he called a pass incomplete and it took him half a minute to realize that it was complete.

I don't disagree on both counts Jon...its a broadcaster's job to do their homework before a game, something that our guys in house (except the tv pxp guy apparently at times) tend to be very good at.

Hogewood had an off week last week. I don't know what backstory there may have been but hopefully as a broadcaster with the length of career he has had, he watched the replay and comes in better prepared tonight.

I wouldn't mind playing a team like Miami, Baylor, Kansas State, Pitt, NC State, Utah, West Virginia, BYU, Boise State, etc. at Williams Stadium every 2 or 3 years.

Not a single one of those teams would ever play here.

The ONLY reason we could even ever play those teams AWAY is because they pay us to come and lose to them. They want an extra home game.

Agreed. Felt like a broken video game broadcast. He kept referring to Shells as a "backup" WR over and over. Even if Shells isnt a starter on the depth chart, you have to be able to see he has been pretty significantly involved in the offense the past couple years.

ODU's stadium seats 20k AND is a complete dump. We're taking scores of porto-potties lining the fence outside of the stands for spectators and the worst high school locker room for visitors in the 757.
I was embarrassed for the ODU fans because the NC State fans got to experience that place.
