Rookie played cornerback at Liberty University but has been playing safety for the Dolphins this season
Rookie Walt Aikens brought some versatility to the Dolphins secondary after being selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft, and it’s being put to use.
Aikens played cornerback at Liberty University but has been playing safety for the Dolphins this season; that was until Jamar Taylor sustained a shoulder injury in the second half of the game against Denver last Sunday and Aikens returned to his last college position.
With Taylor already ruled out of the game against the New York Jets on Monday night and with veteran Cortland Finnegan a question mark because of an ankle injury, Aikens could find himself getting more work at cornerback this week.

Congrats to Kevin!!
Too bad he won't be able to play with Dicke LeBeau who is being let go by the Steelers at the age of 77
