As we get ready for the 2014 Spring Game, I figure Id go over the guys who will be taking their last hurrahs in Williams Stadium and the areas that probably are going to need the most focus as we go into the recruiting season culmunating in Signing Day February 4, 2015:

Dylan Bowman DL
Dominique Davis DL
Jaquan Glover WR
Jacob Hagen S
Mitch Hanson OL
Gabe Henderson WR
Dexter Herman TE
Andrew Jauch LB
Dylan Lewellyn LB
Toby Onyechi DL
Bobby Partilla LB
Greg Ray OL
Kenny Scott CB
Nick Sigmon, LB
Joshua Yoda S

OL 2
RB 0
QB 0
WR 2
DL 3
LB 4
DB 3 (CB and S)

I removed Des and Richardson from the list due to the latest round of roster updates with Richardson no longer on the team and Des out for 2014 due to an injury.

Based solely on numbers, most of our signees will probably have to be of the defensive side of the ball

Need someone to replace Hagan and need a shut down linebacker, who can dominate a game defensively.

Gary Sampson

Jimmy O'Grady is back as well as Nick Newman, and I think Dia'Vante Brown is gonna be a good one

I like little Zach Thomas - Dexter Robbins this kid flys around at the mike spot, but im hearing that a guy to watch will be Lucas Irons and the other guy I think will be our version of Clowney in Tolen Avery.

O'Grady needs to improve his discipline. He had two personal fouls in the last three games that were frankly inexcusable. Hope he can get that under control.

With the fact that we sometimes play with one or both our DE's standing up, it causes us to be quicker off the ball but also sometimes can open up bigger running lanes which are harder for the LB's to fill with the void of the DE's on the hip of that OT, maybe find someone who can spy the QB more when needed. Newman WILL be a tackling machine but his one downfall that I see is covering backs out the backfield, has to get his eyes and feet in better placement to collision and slow that down.

Texans have been awesome on our DL the past few years. TJ should continue that tradition.
