Huge opportunity for us to show what we can do next Saturday. Maine was really beaten up after Norfolk State, but Bryant slugged it out with them and pulled out the victory.

Hopefully we win at home, Bryant keeps winning, and Maine knocks off a couple teams in CAA play.

The Sycamores remain tied at Ball State in the closing minutes of regulation. If they could pull off this upset, our strength of schedule will have received a nice boost today with the earlier victories by Bryant & Monmouth.

For the moment. Bryant and Coastal are still the most likely FCS playoff teams. Indiana State is still likely to finish near the bottom of the MVFC even though they beat a MAC team. Richmond is still an unknown quality.

Good assessment, bluejacket. Although I would probably throw both Indiana State & Richmond into the same bucket of havign playoff potential but tough roads to travel to get there.

The last two weeks have me wondering if Bryant & the Norfolk State defense are that good or if Maine is simply over-rated. The jury is still out.

Yeah, it will be tough for Richmond and/or Indiana State to make the playoffs. Indiana State will be extremely tough (MVFC will probably get 5 teams in the playoffs). This Saturday will tell a lot with Richmond, as they face UNH (as of right now, I see the CAA getting 3 teams in the playoffs with a possibility of four depending on how the everything finishes). The SoCon is really down this season; if CSU wins against the Citadel, there is a real chance that the SoCon only gets one team in the playoffs.

I don't think that Maine is terrible. Right now, I would rank them around 4th in the CAA, but they could definitely finish lower than that.
