We conclude our look at the defense by going after the anti-air attack and previewing the defensive backfield

Players Incoming
Corbin Jackson 6'0" 190 Lbs (Victory Christian Center School, Charlotte, NC)
Chris Turner 6'3" 175 Lbs (Denmark-Olar HS, Columbia, SC)
Alpha Jalloh 6'1" 195 Lbs (Annapolis Area Christian School/Stevenson University, New Carrolton, MD
Avery "A.J." James 6'0" 180 Lbs (Byrnes HS, Duncan, SC)
The Flames took some serious losses in this group, losing two former all-conference players in Fogg and Aikens (both with the Miami Dolphins). former Appomattox Raider Kenny Scott leads the way for the corners along with sophomore Wesley Scott. Youth is a running theme in the bunch as there are only three seniors combined between the corners and safeties, but a very talented bunch is more than ready to take the mantle.
Hagen exploded onto the scene in 2013 after a fairly quiet first two seasons. Hagen finished with 6 interceptions and finished third on the team with his 61 tackles on his way to first team all-conference honors.
The force may not have been with senior Joshua Yoda in getting onto the two-deep, but he showed significant improvement heading in his second season after transferring from Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. He entered camp as one of the starters at safety before being passed by transfer Jalloh and the only true freshman to crack the lineup in James.
Jackson and Turner will probably redshirt and get their first crack at the lineup in spring ball barring significant injuries
Projected Rotation

Tyrin Holloway
Justin Guillory
SS
