What have you been smoking, because you've made an incredibly dumb comment? Liberty has a great team. I'm frustrated with the outcomes at NC State, JMU, and now Lehigh. If we really aren't that good, then there would be far fewer on this board that would be as ticked off at our record as there are. To the contrary, we are ticked off, because we know that the Flames are that good. Statistically, we have dominated every game so far this year (yes, even against our FBS opponent, NC State). LU does know how to win; that is certainly not our issue. Mike's TO's cost us the NC State game, no doubt, but not this game The last two games have been lost as a result of major penalties at really inopportune times. If we win out, we'll have a second chance to make the statement wins we had hoped to get against JMU and Lehigh.

Don't worry, I won't be attacking you. Had you made the same post as aredd, though, my language wouldn't have changed much. Well, I would have made it more apparent that I was going after the post, not the poster. By the way, while I do disagree with many of your posts, I have nothing against you nor aredd personally, as I don't know you.

It is true that points "wins" games, but your position assumes that a team cannot actively "lose" a game, which I think can and does happen. Having said that, do you know what loses games? How about fourteen points taken off the board, because of boneheaded penalties? That had nothing to do with Lehigh being a "superior" team.

My position is that the Flames lost this game, more so than Lehigh "won" the game. Quite frankly, Lehigh was the inferior team. Sure, they get the W, but LU, in a very active sense, self-destructed on the field and lost the game. I'm certain that you can understand my point.
