Some thoughts on Week 1 Big South play:
Presby seems to have improved. It will be another long season for VMI. While Furman isn't quite as good as they used to be, Coastal pulls through. SB nearly knocked off UTEP, wouldn't have been surprised if they did. Gardner Webb needs to quit playing NAIA schools.
And Chucky South should disband the football team immediately.
Looking ahead... I expect SB to beat Buffalo. Ohio is about the only team in the MAC who GB most likely couldn't beat. VMI and William & Mary... hide your eyes, this could get ugly.
And CSU shouldn't even bother showing up to the stadium against Florida State...
