R.J. Quick picked up an offer this week.

The Chapel Hill wide receiver received an offer from Liberty on Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill football coach Issac Marsh.

Quick, a member of the Class of 2012, stands at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He caught 58 passes for nearly 1,400 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, earning all-conference honors and a spot on the HighSchoolOT.com All-OT Team.

More offers are expected down the road for Quick.

Quick ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds in the Shrine Bowl Combine at Eastern Alamance High School, posted a 35.1 inch vertical jump, and bench pressed 185 pounds 10 times.

I like the speed. WR is no doubt a focus in the 2012 recruiting class with Summers, Garner and Hayes all R-Seniors. PK will probably be looked to to take the lead position in 2012 and with Pratt coming back, youll probably see a previously unknown player be forced to step up to take a place in the top 3, or we may see a freshman coming in and having to play right away, so he will certainly have a chance to compete right from the word go if he signs here.
