I will echo the same sentiments that Chris said Danny and Pierre are both great athletes and come from great winning programs... I had a coach from Amherst ask me about a month why LU was not coming through the halls seeing that Richmond and other I-AA school's where, well getting Tinsley will be a great pick-up but more importantly will get more fans in the seats and keep the local talent, local... same thing apply's with Danny he is very familiar with the turf up at LU... i.e 7 on 7 in the spring and different camps over the last few years... Two more great pickups in my mind..

At the high school level most coaches tend to put their best athletes at QB regardless of their natural position. I like that many of our recent commits seem to fit that profile.

Getting some local recruits now that is what I am talking about. This is a good start in terms of establishing ourselves in this city.

Agree w/ AG and the others on local kids: I really think that the impact this will have on local fans is seriously underestimated.

You get 3 or 4 local kids each year, who bring family, former teammates and their families- start adding the numbers exponentially.

very exciting prospects for building a local following for the future.

I think its probably been a little of both, ed. Its a two-way street and it only takes one or the other to keep something from working.

My point is, that there seems to be a lot of area talent that goes elsewhere across the board. I applaud Coach Rocco in actually getting the players in. Coach Karcher talked about it, but never seemed to follow up. Of course, the local kids may want to get out of the area or don't even want to come to Liberty because of what we are? However, I think in many cases, the coaches don't even show an interest in the local kids.
