I see what you're saying but it's not a directly proportional relationship (population compared to criminals). For example let's look at gangs. Which will you find more in? Roanoke? or Floyd County? While that is not to say that the recruit from Floyd County couldn't be a gang (for all we know, maybe he is). Nor does it automatically mean the player from Roanoke is in a gang. However, we can see the cultural differences and their influences on the recruit and have a influential impact on this recruits personal choices, one which may disqualify them from playing at LU.
Perhaps we can look at it this way. Hypothetically we say that Floyd County's population is 15,000. They have 200 gang members. Roanoke City's population is 95,000. They have 800 gang members. Which would you hear about more? Roanoke's. But which really has more gang members per capita? Floyd.
The impact that example has is that population will inflate the number of bad eggs (as BJ put it) there are.
Anyways, using Gabe Henderson as an example, or any kid, I feel proves my point that not all players from urban areas would not fit at LU. What I mean to say is that urban areas tend to not give us as many opportunities to find a recruit who would meet our standards, as say, the small town quarterback who has gone to church all his life.
For the record, I almost ended up going to Fleming. I went to Roanoke City schools K-7th grade, in the poorer side of town. Perhaps that would have been a better example to use. And yes, Law School has actually been on my mind

It's just my opinion all are free to disagree.
