North Hall football coach Bob Christmas called Thursday morning from high in the hills of East Tennessee to let me know that TE D.J. Miolen, a senior, picked up an offer from Georgia Southern University. According to Christmas, the Eagles are recruiting Miolen (6-3, 252 pounds) as either a tight end or defensive end.
Already, Miolen has offers from Air Force, Citadel, Liberty, Southern Illinois and Western Carolina, according to Rivals.com.
